Kanree is an ambitious Culture + Entertainment Broadcaster, Real Estate Professional and Co-founder of an international non-profit organization called Education for Liberia. She is a former refugee from West Africa who grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and she currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Led by her faith and her passion to become an international broadcaster Kanree boarded a bus in December 2014 and moved to the concrete jungle - without a job or a place to live.

In the past 3 years, she's worked at 3 of the top local news stations in the city and has interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment and politics, including Kendrick Lamar, Joel Kinnaman, Diddy and NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio. Kanree also produces and shoots daily video content which airs to millions of New Yorkers. Prior to moving to New York she worked in fashion and radio in Western Canada and The U.K. Kanree began her broadcast career as a radio host in Elon, North Carolina, where she also received her bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Entertainment from Elon University.

A hard-worker with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, Kanree is excelling as a multimedia journalist. You can catch her on the red carpet, backstage at music events or even digging up listing information for real estate coverage. She is currently curating content for a digital brand called "knaturalized.", which she hopes will inspire the next generation of immigrants to run wildly in the direction of their American dream.
